An interesting NY Times Article on a public school using online classes due to budgetary issues.  We are in our second year of our successful affiliation with The Online School For Girls, http://www.onlineschoolforgirls.org, which allows us to greatly expand our Upper School course offerings.

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Budget cuts have eliminated about 95 full-time teachers from the school district here over the past year, swelling class sizes and prompting parents to cry foul.  Members of Manchester’s school board after a meeting last week concerning high school classroom overcrowding.
